Know which cage you need?

Turnkey

Every part of the cage, from one company

Turnkey means we bring every part and install it, so the cage is ready to hit in when we leave. Here's what that covers.

Frames and Cables

Steel frames or a cable system sized to the cage, anchored for indoor or outdoor use, from Cimarron Sports.

Custom-Ordered Nets

Nets custom ordered through Cimarron Sports to your cage's length, width and height, in a twine weight that suits how hard the cage gets used.

Turf Floor

Turf in the cage and the lanes around it, over concrete, an existing floor or a prepared base outdoors.

Turf training areas

Divider and Barrier Netting

Netting that splits an open floor into lanes, protects walls and lights, or stops balls at the edge of a field.

HitTrax Systems

Hitting data and simulation, so hitters and coaches see the result of every swing.

Need just the netting, or a part that isn't listed? Tell us what you're working with and we'll order what fits.

How it works

From empty space to first swings

One company runs the install from start to finish. We take the stress of getting the space built off your plate, so you can focus on serving athletes and getting them in the door.

  1. First call

Tell us where the cage is going, the space you have, and who will hit in it.

  2. Plan

We measure the space and settle the cage size, the layout, the net and any extras like HitTrax or a Portolite mound.

  3. Order

Your nets, cables and frames are custom ordered through Cimarron Sports to the sizes we planned.

  4. Prep

Outdoors, the ground is leveled and the posts are set. Indoors, we prepare the floor and the anchor points in your building.

  5. Install

Frames and cables go up, the nets are hung and tensioned, and the turf floor and equipment go in.

  6. First swings

We check the cage over with you, and your hitters step in. One company handled it from start to finish.

FAQ

Batting cage questions

Have a question that isn't here?

How much does a batting cage cost?

It depends on the size of the cage, indoors or out, the frame and net you choose, the floor, and extras like HitTrax or a Portolite mound. A single backyard cage and a multi-cage facility layout are very different projects, so we quote yours from your space and your plans. The quote is free.

What size batting cage do I need?

It depends on your space and your hitters. Cages commonly run from about 35 feet long for a backyard hitting tunnel to 70 feet for a full-length cage, at around 12 to 14 feet wide and high. We measure your space and size the cage to it.

What netting do you use?

Nets are custom ordered through Cimarron Sports, where we're a direct dealer, to your cage's exact size. Nets come in different twine weights, and a cage that gets hit in every day calls for a heavier net than one used a few times a week. We help you choose.

Can you put a batting cage inside a barn or metal building I already own?

Yes. We install cages inside existing barns and metal buildings, fitted to the structure. If you need a new building, we build it through Metal America.

Can a batting cage go outdoors?

Yes. Outdoor cages are built with frames and nets made for outdoor use, on ground that's leveled first, with a turf floor so the cage stays usable after rain.

Can you add HitTrax or a pitching mound to the cage?

Yes. We install HitTrax hitting data and simulation systems and Portolite portable pitching mounds and mats, so the cage works for hitters and pitchers.

Can you replace the net on a cage I already have?

Yes. We custom order replacement nets through Cimarron Sports, sized to your existing frame, and hang them for you.

What warranty comes with a batting cage?

Two separate warranties. Our workmanship is covered for 1 year. The products carry the manufacturer's warranty, up to 25 years depending on the product.

Where do you install batting cages?

Anywhere in Texas, from our home base in Fort Worth, including the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We also take facility and cage projects in surrounding states.
